Security & Compliance
LiteratureMap takes the papers you paste and maps them from their own metadata - theme clusters, declared and shared-term links between entries, and coverage gaps - so a literature review stops being a list. It never looks up citation counts: relationships come from your input.
What we handle
LiteratureMap processes the text or configuration you submit to produce its output. We do not train public models on your submissions without explicit consent.
Data handling commitments
- Input is used only to generate your result.
- We minimize retained data and avoid storing secrets longer than needed.
- Transfers use standard encryption in transit.
Compliance posture
We keep data handling simple and minimal by design.
Honesty note: LiteratureMap is a tool that helps you prepare and assess. It does not guarantee compliance, 100% coverage, or that you will never miss a requirement. Treat its output as decision-support, not legal sign-off.
Subprocessors
We rely on our hosting provider (Vercel) and payment processor (Waffo). No data is sold to third parties.
